2024 Ireland Itinerary

May 5-14 10Days / 9Nights

​Day 1 – Halifax to Dublin 

• Depart for r Dublin.

Day 2– Dublin to Belfast   (B, D)

• 7:10 AM - Arrival at Dublin  airport and customs check
• Depart Dublin and 45 minutes later we enjoy breakfast at a thatched roof restaurant
• Continue on to Belfast where we have a short guided panoramic tour of the city .Arrive at  your center hotel at around 2pm for check in
• . 6:00 PM - Meet in hotel lobby for our welcome to Ireland. reception  and dinner

Day 3–Potrush, Giants Causeway, Belfast (B, L)

• Included hotel breakfast
• Depart for Giants Causeway, a UNESCO Heritage location where you will be amazed by the site and can enjoy the interpretive center. 
• Proceed to Potrush for a Bushmills whisky tour and tasting at the 400 year old distillery
• Travel along the majestic north coast of Northern Ireland amidst amazing vistas.
•  Return to Belfast city center hotel where the balance of the day is free to explore Belfast.

Day 4- Belfast-Derry-Donegal- (B, D)

• Included hotel breakfast
• First up is a stop at the Titanic Museum winner of award “World’s Leading Tourist Attraction”, a truly fascinating place to visit.
• We depart Belfast and travel west stopping in Derry for a city tour and lunch. After lunch we depart for Donegal. Donegal was named in 2017 the coolest place on earth by National Geographic.
• We have a dinner at an  award winning restaurant followed by a trip to local pub for some traditional music.

Day 5 – Donegal –Glencolumkille -Donegal (B, L)

• Included hotel breakfast
• We travel to  the coast of Co Donegal to the Gaelic speaking area around Glencolumbkile for an amazing  coastal tour including a lunch stop 
•  Following lunch we return to Donegal for some free time in the town center, visit the castle or some shopping...

Day 6 – Donegal -Knock Galway–Doolin (B)

• Included hotel breakfast
• Depart our hotel for a stop at Yeats grave.in the Sligo area and then to Knock for lunch ..
• Travel to Galway for free time in the city .
• After dinner we travel to Doolin and check in at out Bed & Breakfast, our home for the next two nights. 
• Optional visit to pub across the street from the BB for some music.

Day 7 – Doolin –Aran Islands-Cliffs of Moher–Doolin (B)

• Included hotel breakfast...
• Depart  hotel to the port of  Doolin
• Taking a local tour boat we travel to Inis Oirr (back island) the smallest of the Aran Island. We will have time to explore the island near the pier and also have lunch.
• After lunch we take our tour boat and cruise out to the famous Cliffs of Moher where you will get the unique view of the cliffs from the water. Amazing experience.
• Arriving back at Doolin pier mid-afternoon you will have time to visit the fabulous sweater shops along the main street or take in a music matinee at a pub.
• Check in to our Bed and Breakfast locations just across from a well-known pub restaurant.

Day 8 – Doolin –Irish Stud Farm –Dublin (B,L)

• Included hotel breakfast
• We travel east towards Dublin and make a stop at the Irish National Stud farm and gardens. This farm is home of the most magnificent horses & glorious gardens.
• Now it is on to Dublin, the famous capital of Ireland where will check in to city center hotel in mid-afternoon.
• Remainder of the day free to explore the city and enjoy a great pub meal at one of the many options in the city. Fun Fun

Day 9 - Dublin (B,D)

• Included hotel breakfast
• The morning starts with a guided city tour that covers all the highlights of this city including a stop at the Guinness store house.
• After the tour is completed you’re on your own for the rest of the afternoon to visit the museums, maybe visit the Book of Kells or just some great shopping.
• At 6pm we will gather for our final group meal in Ireland at a restaurant a short walk from your hotel. There will be lots to talk about as we recap our week and enjoy our last night in Dublin town.

Day 10  Dublin city center to Dublin Airport

• Early morning transfer to Dublin Airport where we take our flight to Halifax​
